Kiss Cam – Love Has No Labels
I’ve sort of been aware that they have this practice of “Kiss Cam” at sporting events in the U.S. It’s where the TV cameras scan around the crowd with the images going up on the big screens, everyone is watching and, whoever the camera stops on has to kiss in front of everyone.
Obviously, this is a bit of fun during the slow parts of a sporting event but the group “Love Has No Labels” has turned the Kiss Cam results at the recent Super Bowl into a beautiful video promoting acceptance, tolerance and how the appearance of a person has almost zero importance.
This video teaches us what real love is. Love is really the understanding and acceptance that we are all the same in all the ways that matter. Our physical appearance and the long list of “socially acceptable” practices are of no importance to love as it’s at a much deeper level that we feel the real connection with everyone else.
Did you find the video touching and stirring deep positive emotions within you?
Love Has No Labels
I came across this Love Has No Labels movement a few months ago when I saw the John Cena video We Are America – Love Has No Labels. I found that video quite stirring and inspiring, just as I find the Kiss Cam video. The Love Has No Labels movement say they are fighting bias and one of their tag lines is;
“Before anything else, we are all human.”
Couldn’t agree more and I wish #lovehasnolabels all the best in their efforts. The world needs positive initiatives like this.
The “Love Has No Labels” initiative is supported by the Ad Council which is “America’s leading producer of public service communications“. The Ad Council is backed by a large range of sponsor organisations and their mission is to “identify a select number of significant public issues and stimulate action on those issues through communications programs that make a measurable difference in our society.” Looks like they are doing some very good work.
